Stacey Stocks, LCSW

Mental Health Therapist

Stacey (her, hers, she, they, them) believes in the body-mind connection which states that essentially, in order to achieve overall health and wellbeing, it is important to care for both body and mind.

She has worked in the mental health field for over 24 years. Much of that time she has worked as a therapist, but she also has experience supervising others as well as managing and developing programs. Stacey utilizes CBT, Brief Therapy, ACT, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy in her practice.

Stacey was born, raised, and trained in Southeast Michigan. She relocated to Arizona in 2012 to start up an Integrated Behavioral Health Program within a large Community Health Center in Maricopa County. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.

I am fascinated by human behavior and what motivates people to change. While I did not know what it took to be a therapist, I just knew from the age of 12 that I wanted to be involved in the process of helping people heal, grow, and doing what it takes to achieve change.

I believe people ultimately know what they need to do to make change in their lives. Often, what I think is needed is a space where people can go to feel supported without judgment. My job as a therapist is to create such a place.
