Alia Parvez, PT

Physical Therapist

Alia believes in empowering members to take control of their own health journey through a collaborative treatment approach and through education. She has a passion for helping people understand how to move in their bodies safely and efficiently, to accomplish whatever task or activity is most meaningful for them.

Alia worked as the physical therapist for the Dancing With the Stars Live Tour, and loves working with people to improve their movement. When she was not on tour, she worked in a clinic specializing in chronic pain, and spent time working at a hospital on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Alia is thankful to be back in the region to help care for the community. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, jogging, traveling, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for Bay Area sports teams.

What makes me unique

My compassion for others and desire to make everyone feel welcome in my presence set me apart. I am enthusiastic and am definitely the easiest audience for jokes that you will find. I also have an active gratitude practice that keeps me centered on the positive aspects of life, and I enjoy sharing that with others.

Why I practice healthcare

I love my profession and I think that comes through in my interactions with the people I care for. There is nothing like the joy of helping someone achieve their goals and get back to their life.
