John Montgomery Yost, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical associate professor of dermatology at Stanford University. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Yost graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College before heading to Hamburg, Germany as a Fulbright Scholar. He completed medical school at the University of Michigan, during which time he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. For residency, Dr. Yost trained at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University, consistently rated as one of top programs in Dermatology, where he received the prestigious Morris Leider award as “the best all-around resident” for Excellence in Dermatology.

In addition to working at the Life@ Wellness site on campus at Facebook, Dr. Yost is a member of the Dermatology Faculty at Stanford University, where he attends several clinics monthly and is actively involved in resident and medical student education.

A relatively recent East coast transplant, Dr. Yost spends his free time enjoying the amazing California weather and food with his husband and rescue mutt Murphy, and is finally getting used to being the most overdressed person at the beach.
