Maxine Yeung, MS, RD
Maxine wants to make sure people feel heard, take an active part in their care plan, and have the skills and confidence to manage their health and wellness. As a health coach, she is there to support you and work with you in creating a plan to help you reach your health goals.
Maxine worked at hospitals in Brooklyn and the Bronx, NY before taking a position at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA to work in their first virtual primary care clinic that also included wellness coaching. Loving the collaboration between physicians and coaches, she then moved to Crossover Health to be part of a larger multi-disciplinary team.
Originally from the East Coast, Maxine now resides in the Bay Area. Her happy place is a snowy mountain or a large body of water. In her space time, you can find her skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, tending to her vegetable garden, baking some treats, and spending time with her husband and two little daughters.

What makes me unique
Before becoming a dietitian and health coach, I was a pastry cook for fine dining restaurants and I loved it! I first learned about food and the science behind it while cooking, and it only made me more curious. I ultimately switched careers because I really wanted to help people on a more personal level.
Why I practice healthcare
I work in healthcare because it’s exciting and ever changing. There is always something interesting to learn and I love having the opportunity to spread this information and help others feel empowered too.
